Rent a Car in Malta

Got a small Fiat which was perfect for Malta's narrow streets. Picked it up at the airport, no hassle. Just be prepared for aggressive local drivers and chaotic parking in Valletta. Would rent again.

Third time renting here. They know what they're doing. Always book a compact car—trust me. Traffic and potholes haven't improved since my last visit, but that's not their fault. Bit pricey for young driver surcharge (I'm 22), but no surprises if you read the fine print. Day lights are mandatory, so check that.

Small car works well on compact islands. Our big issue: didn't expect the driving to be so... intense. Insurance seemed expensive but probably necessary. Service at return was professional. We had a great short vacation, though the online booking process doesn't explain everything. I highly recommend asking staff about your planned routes upon pickup.
